Family

Bradley and I have been having a lot of conversations about family here recently. Within the past couple of years, we've both really had our hearts torn and our family really were the only ones there to turn to. They picked us up and helped us get to where we are now. We both really had to humble ourselves, and we've both really grown up a lot. With that came a new look on family. Our family has always been important to both of us, but here recently God has really revealed to us the true importance of family. We old every single member of our families of high importance. We love everyone. There may be times where we don't agree on things and there may even be times in which we don't like certain decisions that are made. But never for one minute does it mean that we don't love and care deeply for our family- as a whole and as individuals. Nothing gives us more joy than God and our family. I hope that everyone at some point in their lives has to humble themselves before God and their family. I believe it is when you humble youself completely that you realize the importance of things and people in your life. You will really gain a whole new perspective and your priorities will completely change.
I just really felt the need to write this. Much love and countless blessings-

So true - sometimes families are hard to get along with. But within our families are where our legacy lies. It is important to remember though that our families were not meant to be our primary source of comfort, because as humans, they will hurt us. God is a faithful God and will meet our every need. I will say however, that family is a close second:)

Very true. I believe the Biblical order of a family is God, the Husband, the Wife, the Children, and then the extended family- I need to read that passage again and really meditate on it seeing as how the time is getting closer for Bradley and I to start our own family. I must say I am very excited to see what our God has in store for us as individuals and as a family. He's been so wonderful to us already- it's hard to imagine what more He's going to do, but I know it's going to be amazing.
