Change

As some of you may know, I have been looking for another job- either a second job or a completely new job. Well, I got a job at Baells Department Store today. I had my interview and they called shortly later to tell me I was hired. My first working day is tomorrow. I am planning to hopefully quit my other job in a couple weeks. I'm going to put in my two weeks notice next Sunday if everything goes well at Baells. I just want to make sure I'm getting enough hours before I quit.

On another note, school starts Monday. I qualified for PELL this year and it covered EVERYTHING! So that was awesome- I was dreading having to take out another loan. I am looking forward to school starting and having a routine. I do much better with routines- I'm like a five year old when it comes to that.

On a completely different note, Bradley and I washed and cleaned out our vehicles today, which is something that needed to be done for while now. Bradley's not so much, but mine needed it bad. If you've looked in there lately, I am completely sorry. haha. We also srayed my carpet with this smell good stuff that smells like cherries, so that's lovely. For those who don't know I have a fascination with cherries. I don't like to eat them, but I like things that have them on it- purses, air fresheners, that sort of thing. It might have something to do with my name being Charity and it sounding so close to cherry...

So here's to a new job, a new school year, and clean vehicles!

A Little Impatient

We have 310 days left until our wedding. I find myself bored with wedding plans- what else can I do? I have my dress and I have all of the wedding party attire picked out, I'm pretty sure I know what we're getting for all of the attendent gifts. I have the ceremony layed out for the most part. I have to decide if I want people to sing, or I just want recorded music. I just don't want anyone to feel overwhelmed. We are going to have a poem reading. I've decided on the music that I want to be played while I'm going down the aisle- Bradley likes it too, and he likes the poem. I've been looking up pink and orange weddings on google to get ideas for decorating. It's been extremely helpful. I feel like we can't really do a whole lot more until the time gets closer. Time is driving me insane. I wish we could just bump up the date, but we can't. I mean we could, it's just a lot of people wouldn't be able to make it. Summer seems to just be the best time for everyone in general. School won't be an issue and with the wedding basically being in Florida, many people that travel there can have a pretty fun family vacation. If it was held anytime of the year, I think a lot of people wouldn't be able to go. So I guess I have to just smile and deal with the time. The good news is that I am getting married and I am marrying the most amazing person on this planet. Our life together has been amazing so far. I just can't wait to see what else life has in store for us. And If time is all I have to worry about, then I guess I don't have much to complain about. Not everyone gets to experience the joy that comes with marrying the love of your life and best friend. I'm one lucky gal.

Family

Bradley and I have been having a lot of conversations about family here recently. Within the past couple of years, we've both really had our hearts torn and our family really were the only ones there to turn to. They picked us up and helped us get to where we are now. We both really had to humble ourselves, and we've both really grown up a lot. With that came a new look on family. Our family has always been important to both of us, but here recently God has really revealed to us the true importance of family. We old every single member of our families of high importance. We love everyone. There may be times where we don't agree on things and there may even be times in which we don't like certain decisions that are made. But never for one minute does it mean that we don't love and care deeply for our family- as a whole and as individuals. Nothing gives us more joy than God and our family. I hope that everyone at some point in their lives has to humble themselves before God and their family. I believe it is when you humble youself completely that you realize the importance of things and people in your life. You will really gain a whole new perspective and your priorities will completely change.
I just really felt the need to write this. Much love and countless blessings-

Wedding Blog

I had a wedding blog set up, but it's pretty annoying to keep up two different blogs, so I disabled it. Guess what that means? Ya'll get to hear about wedding stuff! Yay!
So anyways, I've had a really hard time settling on colors. At first, we were going to do burnt orange and white (Texas Longhorn colors). But when I went looking around, it's pretty hard to get a burnt orange dress. So we decided on the color persimmon, which is in the orange family and not too far from burnt orange. When I "dressed" my wedding on David's Bridal's website, I wasn't too thrilled with the result. But Bradley really likes the orange idea and so do I. It's both of our favorite colors. But it just made the wedding look so fall-like. And it's a summer wedding. Trust me- colors make a huge difference when you think about the time of year, time of day, in-door, out-door, place- those kinds of things. It sets the whole mood and I want my guests to feel cheerful and summery.
Well, a number of people have told me about people having their wedding in pink and orange. I'm not a big pink fan, so I didn't think I would like the idea. But I found a hot pink color that I actually like. I put the two together on David's Bridal and I love the look. I was afraid Bradley wouldn't, but he does! So that's what we're doing. The colors are going to be Persimmon and Azalea. It's going to be beautiful! I'm even more excited now!
