Playing Dress-up

When I got back from Georgia, we decided to go through our clothes and switch out our closets. I needed the little bit of extra space- especially the floor space for my shoes. In my old closet (Bradley's current closet) my shoes were piled on top of each other, which wasn't exactly convenient because the entrance to our crawlspace is also located in the floor of that closet. While I was gone, Bradley had to get underneath the house, and well, let's just say he doesn't appreciate my shoes as much as I do :) We talked about going through our closets and switching them out before, but kept putting it off. After Bradley had to move all my shoes, I think he decided we better go ahead and do it. So we went through our clothes and ended up with 8 bags of clothes to get rid of. We found clothes we forgot we ever owned, like Bradley's cowboy outfit in the picture below:

Yes, we had to put it in with the rest of the bags. It barely fit him and it was just taking up space that we don't have much of. But of coarse, we kept the hat :)

Our New Friend

Meet our new friend:
Bradley and I went to the boat/rv show in Amarillo today. It was pretty nifty and we dreamed a lot:) There were also some vendors there, such as some people from the Texas Alligator Ranch. Along with them were a large alligator and this little guy (or girl). I'm not sure what it was. We thought it would be fun to get our picture taken with it. We held it for a little while and it seemed to be very relaxed in Bradley's lap until another lady came up to pet him. Apparently, he didn't like her so much because he jumped and jerked his neck around like he was going to snap at her, only he couldn't because his mouth was taped shut:) I think Bradley's heart was off beat for a few minutes afterwards...

Bye Uncle Zachary!

Below are pictures taken the day before we took my little brother to college

Going to Grandma's House

My little brother and I drove down to visit our grandparents for a couple days.
This is my Grandma:)
Isn't she beautiful:

Zachary and me:
(My Grandma whispered to him to kiss me and he said "No Grandma, I will not slap Charity.")

This is me, my Uncle Ronnie, and his friend, Beth. I like her accent.

All in all, we had a really great time with my grandparents. We got there a little after lunch on a Saturday, stayed all day Sunday, and left about lunch time on Monday. Sunday was great! We played Rummy all day:) One of my favorite pastimes.

Surprise or no surprise? Plus mohawks!

Ok- now I must explain the above picture. Meet my mom. I arrived in Georgia a couple days earlier than my mom expected, so I secretly found out when her lunch break was, and decided to surprise her right before she left and eat lunch with her. My little brother tagged along. So anyways, she was working with a customer and she was turned around facing that back row of merchandise. I got the camera ready and thought when she turned around I would get her surprise look, but much to my dismay, I didn't. At least not for a while. She said "Oh how sweet." She thought I was a customer testing out my camera on her. After a couple of seconds, she looked at me, looked at my brother, looked back at me, and started crying and screaming all at the same time, which was the reaction I first expected. If I had a video camera with me, it would have made a great youtube video...
The following pictures are of my nephews. We thought it would be funny if I gave them mohawks. (Their idea). So I did and this is the turnout:

Tissue anyone?

Before I left for my trip, which I will talk about later, we did Christmas with our friend, Rosealee, and her little boy, Joshua. She gave me a box of tissues, which I thought was really thoughtful because my nose was running like crazy, and then she took out this adorable little Texas Longhorn mini couch tissue holder.
And it fits perfectly in our Texas Longhorn bathroom!!

I also snapped these pictures of my neices, or Bradley's neices. They mind as well be mine:) I thought their outfits were adorable.
