I meant to share this conversation with you guys a while back. We had it on our honeymoon, and it had me laughing for probably 30 minutes.
Charity: Is that a cop?
Bradley: I don't think so.
Charity: Well, it's white and it's an Impala.
Bradley: That's not an Impala.
Charity: Yes it is.
Bradley: No, it's not.
(as we drive closer)
Charity: Then why does it say Impala?
Bradley: Because it's an Impala.

That's Not an Impala

Married Life
We are adjusting well to married life.
I've compiled a list of things that really drive me nuts about my new husband. Don't get me wrong- I love him to death and he is so sweet to me, but there are a few areas that could use improvement :)
The toilet seat. My gosh! Put it down! And don't give me the "well, you don't lift it up for me." Well, your not the one falling in at 2 in the morning. K? Thanks!
The toothbrush. That boy has been using the same tooth brush for nearly three years. Now, I noticed this a long time ago, so being the sweet girlfriend I was, I bought him a new toothbrush. What did he do? He ditched it for his old one. The new one does not tickle the top of his mouth like the old one did. So what did I do just before I left for the wedding? Yes mam! I threw the old one away and since I couldn't find the exact same toothbrush, I found one that was the same color, and quietly replaced it. He hasn't said anything yet, so he either figured it was time for a new one or that his old one just doesn't tickle like it used to :)
Dishes. This drives me extremely crazy! I will load the dishwasher, start it, and then about halfway through the cycle, I walk into the livingroom only to find dishes on Bradley's side table. Ok, that doesn't just drive me crazy. It makes me a little mad :) Put the dishes in the sink, boy!
Water bottles. Bradley has a game he likes to play. When he finished drinking all the water from the water bottle, he throws it at the ceiling fan in the bedroom to see where it will land. Why is that ammusing? I don't know, but for some reason it is. If he picked them up, it wouldn't be a big deal, but he doesn't. They sit there until the cat drags them around the house and I trip over them, like I did today. Wood floors do not feel good on the tush, people!
Bodily functions. Since when has it been funny to purposefully "cut the cheese" in front of a woman? And then get all excited when it smells horrid? Boys are gross. I remember that from kindergarten...
Ok, now before you think I'm nothing but a complaining wife, there are several things I love about my sweet husband.
I love yous. During, the day he randomly tells me he loves me. Nothing warms my heart more than those words out of his mouth. And he says it sincerly too.
Sweetie. When he needs something, he says " Sweeetie!" and when I look, he gives me the cheesiest smile ever, but it's so sweet, I can hardly ever not do what he wants.
Manners. His mama taught him well. He always says thank you for dinner, for sweet tea, for things I do around the house, and it just makes me love him more. He acknowledges that I do things and it makes me know he appreciates me.
Listening. Even though he sometimes pretends to not be listening, I know he listens to everything I say. How do I know? Because he knows things about me that I forget about. And he knows because at one point in time, I talked about it. That means a lot to me too.
Hugs. Even though he's not big on hugging when he gets home, he realizes that I've missed him all day and that even though it's not important to him, it's important to me that I get a hug sometime soon after he gets home. He thinks about my needs and what's important to me, and that's really special to me. Just one reason why I am completely head over hills in love with him :)
So yeah, married life- it's pretty rad.
