Red River 2010

Here's a few pics from our vacation in Red River! We had a blast! Of coarse, someone had to make a trip to the ER. Bradley busted his knee open coming down from Goose Lake. There's a pic in the slideshow- it's the second to last in case anyone wants to cover their eyes:) It took 12 staples to close it up. It happened after we rode all we wanted and at the end of the trip, so it really didn't put a damper on anything. Anyways, enjoy the pics!

Go Dillas!

Bradley and I have been quite busy with our church happenings this summer. Amoung those happenings- my first minor league baseball game, and I must admit, it was kind of fun. The Amarillo Dillas won 5-4. The game had to go into overtime. It was pretty intense. This was last weekend, but I snagged some pics from one of my FB friends, so I thought I'd share :)

This isn't from the ballgame, but I also snagged this from the same FB friend, and thought Kinsey was super adorable:) She is Bradley's 6 y/o niece. If you don't know her, you are missing out!

Happy Father's Day

I realize it's been a hundred years since I've blogged, but I promise- we are still alive! And married :) For 373 days now...
Not a lot has happened really- just life. So enough about that. Today is father's day, and I have been blessed with a lot of father figures in my life- my dad, my grandfathers, my dad-in-law, preachers, friends, etc. But my dad is the best- hands down! :) He's always been there when I needed him, and when I didn't think I needed him. And he was my first love- in fact, I'm pretty sure there was one point in life that I wanted to marry him, but my mom already snatched him up, so I had to find my own prince.
Happy Father's Day, Daddy! I love you!
And because I must show off my very pretty daddy:
Our very first photo together:

And our last: (so far!)

Happy Thanksgiving

One of my favorite Thanksgiving traditions back home was going around the table and having everyone tell something that they are thankful for. Since I haven't been able to be home for Thanksgiving the last few years, I've decided to take my turn in a blog :)

So here goes it. I'm thankful for:

-My Savior

-My Husband

-My parents (both mine and Bradley's)

-My brothers

-Bradley's family

-Our nieces and nephews

-My Grandma

-Christi Taylor

-My job-

-Paris and Annabelle (my children for now)

-Sweet tea

-Afternoon naps

-Clorox Disinfecting Wipes

-Walmart

-Dollar General

-Flip flops

-Pajama shorts

-My laptop

-Cereal

-Febreeze (all products!)

-Yoplait yogurt

-Dollar menus

-Saturdays

But mostly life itself. Without life, I would have none of the above. Sometimes life gets a little rough around the edges, but all of the above makes it worth the ride! Thanksgiving always makes me reflect on the things I have been blessed with and the little perks we get to enjoy. I hope each of you have a safe and enjoyable holiday! And take time to thank our Lord for all the wonderful things he has given us!
